Also visit the Hmong hilltribe and enjoy lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Mekong river. The trip ends with a 3 hours trek from Cheng Meng up Doi Chi Fa of which you will enjoy a spectacular view of the entire valley including Laos and the Mekong river.. |

DAILY 08:30 - late afternoon -- Depart for a long-tailed boat journey to the Karen village of Ruam Mitr to ride elephants. The terrain is hilly on the two hour trip and enjoy a spectacular view of the mountains surrounding Chiang Rai. Once accross the ridge descend to a Yao hilltribe village and proceed to a hilltribe cottage by a mountain stream. Visit other hill villages in the area and return to Chiang Rai in the late afternoon.

DAILY 08:30 - 17:00 -- Our trek begins with departure by vehicle at eight o clock arriving in the trek area by mid-morning. After visiting a tribal village on foot continue to a scenic spot for a picnic lunch. After lunch continue to other villages in the area before get on your vehicle and returning to Chiang Rai by sunset . For beginner and Intermediate trekkers. The exact area selected for trekking on any given day is subject to change. |
